Frequently asked questions
Shop facial masks online
The Body Shop's facial masks are made with natural-origin ingredients to address issues such as dullness, dryness and irritation, functioning as powerful add-ons for clearer, smoother, more hydrated skin.
Key ingredients in facial masks
- We use hero ingredients such as charcoal for detoxifying, Aloe Vera for soothing and hydrating, Vitamin C for brightness, Vitamin E for moisture and antioxidant defence, and tea tree oil for blemish reduction.
When and how to use a face mask
- Hydrating masks can be used morning or night, while purifying clay or charcoal masks suit evening routines; different formats (sheet, rinse-off, overnight) have specific usage times, generally 1-3 times per week.
How to use a facial mask
Cleanse first, optionally exfoliating for better absorption, then apply an even layer and leave it on for the recommended time before rinsing and finishing with serums or essences to lock in benefits.
Different types of facial masks
Clay masks are for oil control and pore cleansing, sheet masks are for fast hydration, overnight masks for intensive repair, and gel masks for cooling, soothing care.
Benefits of using facial masks
Regular masking can deeply cleanse pores, boost hydration, calm blemishes or redness, target specific issues such as tone or fine lines, and improve how well subsequent serums and moisturisers work for you.
How to choose the right facial mask
Select face masks based on your skin type and concern, choosing oil-control options for blemishes, creamy masks for dryness and soothing formulas for sensitivity.
